For two-and-a-half decades, I have been creating warm, nurturing and creative kids’ and teen classes in various capacities as dance/movement teacher, Sunday School teacher, elementary and middle school teacher, art teacher and creative writing teacher. I have two daughters, Bella and Anni, who have inspired me through years of spontaneous art, dance, music, drama and storytelling in the kitchen, the backyard and beyond! I have a BA in Anthropology and Elementary Education, and an MFA in Writing for Children, and a Certificate in Therapeutic Art. I’m a published children’s author and for the past two years, I traveled the country interviewing and writing about people living with rare diseases, the narratives of which have been published into several books. I’m currently pursuing credentials for a REACE certification (Registered Expressive Arts Consultant and Educator) through the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association via a two level certification study at Expressive Arts Florida Institute. I am a level 2 certified kids wellness Coach through Clayful Health.
